As the new President of the Chamber Music Guild, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sharon Wong for her leadership of the CMG for the past eight years. She has been responsible for guiding CMG through a time of explosive growth, even in the face of the pandemic. Under her leadership the organization has improved its financial stability and secured a permanent space, the Chamber Music Guild Hub in Lynwood. She is the driving force behind several CMG adult programs, including the Weekend Retreat at Icicle Creek and the new monthly sight-reading sessions at the Hub. Thankfully she is staying on the Board, and I will be relying on her experience heavily!
